Miremont
Small French village located in the Haute-Garonne department and the Occitanie region (formerly Midi-Pyrénées region). Its inhabitants are called Miremontais and Miremontaises.
The municipality covers 22.4 km² and has 2,526 inhabitants since the last population census in 2005. With a density of 112.8 inhabitants per km², Miremont experienced a clear increase of 74.7% in its population compared to 1999.
Surrounded by the communes of Lagrâce-Dieu, Grépiac and Auribail, Miremont is located 12 km southeast of Muret, the largest town in the area.
Located at 191 meters above sea level, the Ariège River, the Loubens Stream, the Pissanet Stream are the main rivers that cross the town of Miremont.
The commune of Miremont is part of the Communauté de communes Lèze Ariège and is close to the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees.
