Auterive

St. Paul's Church
The church of Saint-Paul d'Auterive was listed as a historical monument in 1926 and 1990.
The church has a bell of the fifteenth century, you can appreciate its murals, its high altar, its adoring angels, its support of communion, the bust and the statue of Saint Paul. Its altarpiece is made of walnut from 1607. The communion grids are made of wrought iron from the eighteenth century.
Inside, the organ was made by Guillaume Monturus in 1770 and 1783 (dorsal positive) from a Toulouse organ cabinet installed in 1767 by the famous Jean-François L'Epine, instrumental part redone in 1843 by the house Daublaine & Callinet, restored in 1975 and 1996 by Claude Armand; sculptures and decorations by the Toulouse François Mortreuil in 1770.
Museum of Old Tools
The museum of old tools is made of bricks and pebbles and serves as a showcase for more than 5000 pieces, sometimes rare, of the daily life of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries as well as the early twentieth century. During your visit, you will discover the tools that were once used carpenters, sabotiers, blacksmiths, farmers, grinders, shoemakers, watchmakers...
Hydroelectric power plant
If it was in 1923 that the company was created, almost 100 years ago, the first turbine of the brand "Francis" was started in 1924 and the second, a "Kaplan" in 33. The Ramier hydraulic plant was then rebuilt in 94 and the other factory, that of the city in 2008.
House Ysalguiers

Indeed, it is the Malbosc house and as you see it is the oldest building in Auterive called "house of the Ysalguiers" whose first construction dates back to the fourteenth century; it was sold to the King of Navarre and some claim that Henry IV, whose mother Jeanne d'Albret had the title of Lady of Auterive, would have stayed there.
You can only notice the imposing character of the half-timbered building within the historic district of Auterive.

Beaumont sur Lèze

The castle
This construction is characteristic of the Toulouse region, in the 16th and 17th centuries. Around a single courtyard are arranged the buildings of the commons facing the main house. The latter, higher than the others, is located in front of the main portal decorated with a terracotta Eole and two balls representing two small heads. The garden façade of the main building has retained its carved mullioned windows. Inside there is a 17th century staircase.

This church is from the late nineteenth century (1872) more precisely. It is placed under the name of Saint Martin, who also gave his name to the main artery of the town.  Featuring remarkable stained glass windows and a monumental mechanical clock (1893). Its bell tower is one of the most original in the Toulouse region. On the tympanum of the porch, are sealed four culs-de-lampe from the old seigniorial chapel , as well as the coat of arms of the family of Mansencal (1561). Pietà late sixteenth century.

Lagardelle sur Lèze

The church
The church of Lagardelle sur Lèze located on a mound overlooking the valley of the Lèze, 8 km from Muret, dates from the eleventh century: history shows us that it was remodeled almost every 100 years. In 1250 the bell tower had the shape of an open hand.
The old bell tower wall, in 1789, had 5 bells. All were taken down from the bell tower to be used to make cannons and carried to Muret. Only the two existing large bells were not delivered to Muret.
