When you sign a contract for the construction of a detached house, you have, since August 8, 2015, a period of 10 days during which you can, if necessary, reconsider your commitment (previously this period was 7 days). If you wish to withdraw, you must do so by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 10 days, from the day after the first presentation of the registered letter (and not the date on which you will collect it from the Post Office) notifying you of the preliminary contract or the delivery of this deed by a means offering the same guarantees.
