What is the possible rental investment for an old property?

Rental investment

To date, if you want to rent a property in the state (house, apartment) that you already own, it is possible to opt for the investment called "old COSSE". The "Old Borloo" or "ANAH Agreement" schemes ended on 31 December 2016 with a transitional period for the three-year periods that began before 1/01/2017.

As a reminder, as part of the old BORLOO scheme, the owner must sign, with the National Housing Agency, an agreement for a period of 6 years or 9 years (in the case of subsidized work).
He must undertake to rent the bare dwelling for use as the tenant's main dwelling for the duration of the agreement, to a person other than a member of his tax household, an ascendant or descendant.

The rental is concluded either in the intermediate sector or in the social sector, the monthly rent must not be higher than certain ceilings published annually. Tenants must not exceed a certain level of resources.

In return for these commitments, the owner benefits from a specific deduction of 30% (intermediate sector) or 60% (social sector). The rate is increased to 70% in the case of rental to public or private bodies, provided that the latter sublet the accommodation to disadvantaged persons, without any hotel or para-hotel services.
